Welcome to the home of Lake Murray!  Scott Properties started as a small investment company in early 2005. During our first two years of business the company acquired many residential and commercial properties in and around the Columbia, South Carolina area. After acquiring these properties we realized that in order to effectively manage these properties we needed to develop processes and procedures that would allow for an organized, streamlined & cost effective approach to property management. Once these new processes & procedures were developed & implemented, we began to effectively manage all of our company owned properties. Once we established a successful & proven property management system, we began getting many requests from investors and individual property owners throughout the country requesting that we manage their properties.

In April of 2006, we made a business decision to trial our comprehensive property management system with a couple of out of state property owners and as the old saying goes "the rest is history". As the word spread that we were offering property management services to outside property owners, many more request began pouring in and our property management trial turned into a full time, full service property management company known today as Scott Properties of the Midlands, LLC.

Scott Properties specializes and is currently managing mid to high end residential properties with rent amounts ranging from $700 to $2,500 per month. Our territory includes the South Carolina counties of Lexington, Richland & Kershaw.  We also offer our property owners a 100% satisfaction guarantee which simply means that if a property owner is not 100% satisfied with the level of service we provide they are not contractually bound by the property management agreement. Our property owners and tenants are our number one priority and as our mission statement states "we strive to exceed property owner and tenant expectations every time without exception".
